BLACKPINK’s LISA continues to make waves with “SaWaDiKa,” as the music video maintains strong momentum more than two weeks after its release.
Released on September 4, the “SaWaDiKa” music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube in approximately two days and four hours, marking a major milestone for LISA’s latest solo release.
The title “SaWaDiKa” comes from the Thai greeting for “hello,” giving the track a direct connection to LISA’s Thai roots. That identity extends into the music video, which was filmed in Bangkok and showcases locations across the city alongside LISA’s bold styling and commanding screen presence.
Musically, “SaWaDiKa” puts LISA’s signature rap delivery and performance skills at the forefront. Driven by a powerful beat and confident energy, the track gives her plenty of room to showcase the charisma that has made her one of K-pop’s most recognizable global performers.
The choreography has also become a major part of the song’s appeal. On September 12, LISA released a separate “SaWaDiKa” dance performance video, offering a closer look at the choreography, formations and synchronized movement between LISA and her backup dancers.
“SaWaDiKa” also serves as a pre-release single from LISA’s upcoming solo EP “PRESS PLAY,” scheduled for release on October 23. The track offers an early preview of the musical and visual direction of her next solo chapter.
With its hard-hitting beat, sharp rap and high-energy choreography, “SaWaDiKa” brings together LISA’s performance style and Thai identity in one of her most visually distinctive solo releases yet.
